Lewis Mumford, The Illegitimate Einstein Who Was One of the 20th Century's Intellectual Giants

Lewis Mumford was born October 19, 1895, the illegitimate son of Louis Mack, the son of Adolph Mack, husband of Theresa Einstein, and Secretary of the Raritan Woolen Mill, the largest producer of woolen goods in New Jersey and the source of the Einstein fortune. Lewis' other was tk Mumford, a younger man who had an affair with her, but was prevented from marrying Mumford by his own family.
